A ventilator is a piece of medical equipment designed to move breathable air into and out of the lungs, to provide breathing for a patient who is physically unable to breathe or breathing insufficiently. Depending on the patient’s condition, mechanical ventilation can help support or completely control breathing. Your doctor will determine whether full-support or partial-support ventilation is required. We can provide any type of ventilatory support that a patient needs.
RSVP Home Care currently provides Trilogy and LTV ventilators. These devices are small, lightweight, and can be powered by any standard electrical outlet. These ventilators have built-in batteries and external batteries for power outages and trips outside the home.
A Seamless Transition to Home Care
RSVP Home Care will work with the physicians, nurses, and caregivers to make sure our patient’s transition home is as seamless as possible. Many families have shared with us the joy they feel in being able to provide respiratory care for their loved ones in the comfort of their own home. We will be there for you each step of the way, providing you with essential information and training, as well as answering any questions or concerns you may have relating to the equipment or supplies.
Home-based respiratory care is never a “one-person” job. We will provide training to everyone involved in our patient's care.
